a5c7b9f00b The Sheik who competed at the last Cannonball Run, is berated by his father for not winning it. So he tells him to go and win. Problem is that there is no Cannonball Run. So his father tells him to make one of his own. He puts up a million dollars as the prize. So former Cannonballers J.J. and his buddy Vince join, as does Blake and Fenderbaum and some other characters. But Blake and Fenderbaum owe a mobster some money, and the mobster owes some other guy more. He then decides to grab the Sheik and hold him for ransom so he can pay the guy back. The original characters from The Cannonball Run (1981) race across the country once more in various cars and trucks. This film is a mess from start to finish without the pretty girls and the nice cars.<br/><br/>Yes, there was Jackie Chan and Doug McLure and Richard Keil, but they had nothing to offer the film as well as Catherine Back or Marilou Henner.<br/><br/>This is simply a whole bunch of actors put onto a set or site with little to offer the film in any context aside of making some dumb ass comments and smiling and that's about all.<br/><br/>The first one wasn't to good and this one is even worse.<br/><br/>Thin plot with little to support it.<br/><br/>The race is boring, the back story is boring, even the fact that nobody knows who wins is a real stinker.<br/><br/>It's a letdown with a bunch of names heading this POS.
